THE SUFA ARCHIVE
An archive of youth, community and international development work
Stand Up For Africa (SUFA) was a UK charity founded by Elsie Nemlin, working with young people in the UK and Africa and supporting community initiatives, schools and orphanages across Africa.
Active from 2003 to 2011, SUFA grew into an international volunteer-led movement involving more than 1,000 volunteers and staff across continents. Its work received national recognition and support, including two UnLtd awards, a Millennium Award, and recognition that took the organisation's work to 10 Downing Street and Buckingham Palace.
